API Rate Limiting

Our demo API keys have rate limiting mechanisms in place to ensure fair usage of the API and prevent abuse. The rate limits are determined by the type of account you have with us:

Demo Account

Demo keys are rate limited to 1 request per second, capped at 2k requests per day. This limits the use of the API, but still enables enough volume for basic integration and testing.

Enterprise Account

For Enterprise accounts, the default rate limit is determined based on your platform's needs. The Webacy team works closely with partners to determine the right amount of usage to protect the service while allowing for growth.
