Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

An API key from developers.webacy.co (needed only for the API-key flow, not for keyless x402 payments)

Prefer not to manage an API key? Supported endpoints can be called keylessly by paying per request in USDC on Base. See x402 Payments.

Step 1: Get Your API Key

Visit developers.webacy.co to sign up
Generate your API key
Copy and securely store your API key

Keep your API key secret. Never expose it in client-side code or public repositories.

Step 2: Make Your First Request

Check the risk score of any blockchain address:

Your API key should be sent in the header in place of YOUR_API_KEY.

Field	Description
`overallRisk`	Risk score from 0-100 (higher = riskier)
`count`	Total number of risk factors found
`medium`	Count of medium-severity issues
`high`	Count of high-severity issues
`issues`	Array of specific risk factor details
`isContract`	Whether the address is a smart contract
