# Supported Blockchains

> Blockchain risk is chain-agnostic. Webacy is designed to deliver consistent, explainable risk intelligence across every supported ecosystem.

Webacy continuously expands support for new blockchain networks as the digital asset ecosystem evolves. While each blockchain has unique architectures, standards, and transaction models, the Webacy Risk Framework provides a consistent approach to evaluating wallets, transactions, smart contracts, digital assets, and other supported entities across chains.

## Cross-Chain by Design

Many blockchain risks extend beyond a single network.

Webacy's intelligence platform is designed to analyze entities across ecosystems, enabling consistent risk assessments as assets, users, and protocols operate across multiple chains. As support expands, the same APIs, risk framework, and intelligence engines continue to provide a familiar developer experience regardless of the underlying blockchain.

## Default Chain

When no chain is specified, the API defaults to **Ethereum** (`eth`).

## Expanding Coverage

Supporting a new blockchain is more than adding RPC connectivity. Every new network requires the integration of blockchain-specific data models, entity types, risk factors, and detection methodologies to ensure analyses remain accurate and explainable.

Webacy continuously adds support for new ecosystems, asset types, and protocol standards as they mature.

## Chain-Specific Capabilities

Some capabilities may be available only on selected networks due to differences in blockchain architecture or protocol support. Refer to the documentation for each API or intelligence engine to see which chains are currently supported for a given feature.
